A Day Trip to Carowinds

Before Darrin took off for Roanoke with his new job, we took the boys and a friend to Carowinds in Charlotte, NC. We spent an entire day there and we all had a great time. It wasn't overly crowded so there were no long lines to wait in. The weather was just perfect so we didn't burn up either. Tater and his friend, Charlie, were able to ride everything except the two biggest roller coasters. They were fearless, and as always, Bubby was too. The entire park was decorated for "Scarowinds." Scarowinds is something they do every weekend night the entire month of October. It's definitely for the older crowd (teen +). There are ghosts, goblins, monsters, etc. roaming the park along with tons of other scary stuff. So, that's why the fountain in the picture below is red.

The first picture I took upon our arrival.

Best buds...Tater & Charlie

Can you believe that Darrin, Tater, Charlie, and Bubby are on this thing?

Posing for mom again.

This was taken on our way out of the park after a fun-filled day.

You can see the rest of the pictures on flickr.
